These folks are superb! Tara is so communicative all the way through. We brought a necklace in for re-stringing to their NYC offices. They were so kind and kept us updated. Then, when we needed to have the necklace overnighted to us because we were leaving on a trip, they took care of it that same day. We received it in time with great thanks. We wouldn't consider anyone else for future work and give Tara and her team our highest recommendation.

I was a little nervous sending away my heirloom pearls to be restrung all the way to New York but I am so happy I did!!! The price was below what I have paid in the past locally and Tara was quick! Even better the quality of the restringing was top notch, close together, uniform spacing and not one precious pearl missing. They of course also sell beautiful inexpensive to high end pearl clasps, I didn’t purchase this time but I certainly have my eye on a few! Have complete confidence in shipping your pearls, they will be back quickly and you will be thrilled with the results.

I worked with John to get my pearl necklace restrung. He was very kind and efficient. My pearls were restrung within a week! He and his team did a great job — I am very happy with the results. My schedule isn't the best, but he did his best to accommodate me when I asked to pick up my necklace. I will definitely go back to him with future projects. 🙂

I saw them on the Internet and I brought a couple of vintage necklaces (one with multiple strands) to them for re-stringing. They were transparent, quick and the work was done with quality craftsmanship. I would certainly recommend them and use them again.

Perfect outcome. I knew my strand of pearls needed shortening but wasn't sure how much and also wondered whether I had to get a new clasp. I went to Pearl and Clasp because it specialized in solving the problem I had (and because it's good Yelp reviews). It proved a little difficult to find but once I got there i got excellent advice, all the attention I needed, was told that the pearls would be shortened and that an effort would be made to save my existing clasp so that I wouldn't have to buy a new one. The job was done quickly, at an incredibly reasonable price and by a real professional. When I need to have another strand restrung I will certainly visit again.
