Choose something basic but sexy (we like little black dresses), and spend a bit of time on your hair and makeup to really up your style. Don’t forget to accessorize with stunning earrings, a great pair of pumps, and a classy coat (try a trench!).
For a romantic dinner at home, you may want to try something a bit cozier. Go for something with a soft, touchable texture and a feminine cut (off the shoulder is perfect!), and a loose updo. Maybe choose something a bit sexy to hide underneath, just in case ;). Don’t hesitate to dress up, though, if that’s what you’re in the mood for- no need to rely on a restaurant’s ambience to set a mood at home.
Going somewhere more casual-cool than fancy, like a concert, arcade or a club? Mix flirty with fun with a cute, flippy skirt and heeled booties, a feminine top with black jeans and a leather jacket, or high-waisted pants with a crop-top. Add some red or pink to your makeup palette for V-Day, and you’re good to go!
Last but not least, if you’re skipping the romance and going out with your girlfriends, choose an outfit that’s more fashion-focused than guy-oriented. Off-the shoulder tops, peasant blouses, ruffles and boyfriend or cropped jeans are all great options. Keep your look light and flirty, and try a loose braid or low twist to add a hint of romance.
