Oh. My. Gosh. Still excited about this! Pearl and Clasp has some stunning new gems for this year’s collection, thanks to our recent trip to pearl heaven, aka a breathtaking pearl conference in Hong Kong! Rows and rows and tables and tables of pearls in every shape and size: Tahitian pearls, Akoya pearls, golden pearls and so many more, it was truly dazzling!
We walked between the tables comparing quality, feel and styles of the strands, and discussing ideas with fellow pearl enthusiasts. Large, bulky pearls are a 2019 trend, and we are certainly jumping on that bandwagon! The bigger the better, when it comes to pearls, of course.
Another style we are really excited about here at P&C are the unusual colors. There’s a timeless, classic elegance to white pearls, but black, copper, gold and pink pearls make a unique and exciting statement as well. At the conference, we got to know these dynamic options more thoroughly, consulting with experts and made some very promising selections for our upcoming pieces.
