Fall is such an exciting season, especially because of all the wonderful tastes, smells and styles that come along with it. Pumpkin pie, hot apple cider, soups, baking, candles, leaves, cozy sweaters… These things are seriously the best. In general, getting dressed this season is very satisfying, and the outfits are so versatile and layered. And what’s the very best part of autumn wardrobe? Boots! There are so many different styles, and they all have the ability to really tie together an outfit. Here’s a quick breakdown for you:
Ankle Boots
A casual brown or black pair of suede booties look amazing with jeans, a comfy sweater and pretty scarf. If you’re looking to dress it up a little, or you’re getting ready for a date, try ankle boots with a cute sweater dress and blazer or leather jacket. Don’t forget jewelry! Riding Boots
Riding boots are a must-have, since they are comfortable, stylish, and usually water-proof, making them great for any autumn or winter weather. Pair them with leggings or jeans, trench coats, scarves and a variety of hats to really get this season’s look down. You can also fit these under boot-cut jeans for days when the weather’s not so wet.
Over-the-Knee Boots
These are daring and bold, and look best with jeans, or leggings and a flowy or pleated skirt. Make sure to try them on before buying, since you need them to be snug but flexible to stay comfortable throughout the day. For added drama, wear big earrings or a necklace. Furry Snow Boots
Mmmm these are the best. Huge, warm, soft and cute- the ultimate winter shoe. Pair them with Fair Isle leggings for the complete snow look, or tone it down a bit with jeans or leggings. Oversized sweaters, neutral dresses and knit beanies all go well these babies.
Knee Boots
This classic height comes in all shapes and colors. Suede is perfect for fall and pairs well with most outfits. These boots look great with bootcut jeans, just like riding boots!
